June CAMCE Trip - Fernley, NV - Completed
COMPLETED
CAMCE has completed the June Fernley, NV. Members HighTech, Blaze and Sparks and PCM Patrick were exploring and tracking was provided for members using the SPOT web page. (Patrick says this bat colony is actually in the shape of a bat -- what do you think?)

BTW, please congratulate Blaze and Sparks on their recent marriage!
We visited a number of mines outside Fernley, NV. While none of the mines we found were huge, they were certainly interesting from an historical aspect. One in particular had the largest bat colony we had ever seen. We carefully left them undisturbed.
There were a number of interesting mining camps and camps tucked away in the most remote locations. Picture to be posted soon.
The weather never got above 90, the creeks were flowing and great time was had by all. We plan to visit that area again soon.
