Why doesn't CAMCE publish the names of the mines?

Through experience CAMCE has found that mines have a greater chance of being vandalized when photos and locations are published together. CAMCE maintains an extensive database containing the history, coordinates, photographs and ownership of mines. It's with this database that CAMCE hopes to preserve information about these mines for future generations.

The CAMCE mine database is available to CAMCE members, researchers and public safety organizations.
